As many of you know, I tie the knot with my babe of 6.5 years next Friday, September 10th in La Jolla, CA. As we went over all the last things we need to wrap up this week, we talked about what we are most excited for as our big day fast approaches. I thought I would share my answers and would love to hear from all you brides out there what YOU are most looking forward to on your big day!
1. Walking Down the Aisle
Brian and I decided early on not to see each other before the ceremony, which was a big debate between us and many photographers. I absolutely understand seeing each other before and Shannon and I often recommend it to many brides, but for me, that moment when I walk down the aisle and see all my best friends, our officiant/best friend Ari, and all his best friends standing up there, it is absolutely one of the moments I am most excited about. To see Brian’s face, as I walk down the aisle, as his soon to be wife, will make me absolutely lose it! I know the tears will already be flowing for me and I wouldn’t change that moment for anything.
2. Our Reception with 100 Guests
We really cut down our guest list from about 150 to about 100 because it was important to us that every single person there is someone that we know and love and that has supported us through the years and will continue to support us in all the years of our life together. I couldn’t love our friends and family more and just that feeling of having everyone in the same room at the same time, eating, drinking, and dancing the night away, brings me more joy then I could ever imagine.
3. Saturday Morning
When it all comes down to it, this whole extravaganza comes down to one simple thing – Brian and I are becoming husband and wife and I truly cannot wait for Saturday morning to wake up to my new husband and begin the rest of our lives together.
Okay brides! Your turn! What are YOU most excited for on your big day?

Aah, sweet. But please don’t “lose it” too much. Because if you do, I know I WILL! And my eyes get red and puffy if I cry too much!
What am I most excited about? Having everything we’ve worked on, in place and looking great. And then seeing you standing together with Brian, accompanied by all your friends I’ve grown to love over the years.
Don’t forget the tissues!

I was so excited to have all my friends and family (both my own and Randy’s) in the same place. It’s something that most likely will never happen again..and it was truly amazing. I think also just the anticipation of ‘the big day’ – the music, the cake, the dress, the deejay – everything you’ve planned for and thought of over the past year, all coming together…finally. You have to take a step back, hold your hubby’s hand, and really relish the moment.

I think I am most excited to say ‘I do’. Everything else can go awry, it can rain, I can (an probably will) spill on my dress, people’s flights can get canceled and the caterer can forget to come. While I hope none of this happens (and luckily I have All you need is Love Events to make sure it doesn’t ), at the end of the day I can’t wait to tell Tyler that ‘I do’ promise myself to him for all eternity. It really is all that matters to me.

I was very excited to hear/read our vows. I cannot describe how emotional it was; truly something I will never forget.
But the most exciting moment for me was watching my bride walking down the aisle, and just looking deep into her eyes and us both acknowledging, without any words, that we are about to spend the rest of our lives together… Pretty damn cool.
