Wendy and Victor were married on an absolutely perfect Cinco de Mayo day on Saturday. The air was fresh, the sun was bright and the love was all around them. The couple did their first look and took some gorgeous photos at Terranea Resort before the ceremony, then we headed off to La Venta Inn where 100 of their closest friends and family watched them exchange vows and dance the night away. All in all, it was a perfect day!

Oh…and to be able to share gorgeous photos a mere 2 days after the wedding is one of the many reasons we love Jennifer Roper Photography!

We’ve all been there. Gone to a wedding, had a phenomenal time, woke up feeling not so phenomenal. We love BHLDN. We love the sweet styles, affordable (ish) prices, and the fact that there is a sense of uniqueness with each dress. We also are slightly obsessed with coral and yellow so when we saw this dress in both colors we knew we had to share. I’d like both thanks!

We are asked quite often for original ideas for guest books. Most people do not want to have something that will lay around their house with no spot to be placed in (okay I will be honest and say that the “most people” I am talking about in this instance is my husband). So when I saw this adorable and creative DIY wedding idea from Project Wedding, I knew I had to share. A timeline guestbook for your guests to create on the day of your wedding? Totally swoon worthy. We got a call one day from this super bubbly and just plain awesome girl, Larisa. We talked, we connected, and we planned a super rad wedding together…before we ever met in person. When we finally meet her and her equally as awesome fiance, Chris, we become even more excited to help these two put together a wedding of their dreams! As you can see from their engagement photos (shot by one of our faves, Laura from Beautiful Day Photography), they are a bright and colorful couple, with tons of ideas and lots of love between them. What else could a planner want!?
