Love this!

I am loving this idea of a chalkboard platform covered with the couple’s favorite verses, quotes and poems! Simply brilliant and so unique.

Paper Antler + All You Need is Love Events

As many of you know, All You Need is Love Events often partners with other small businesses and non-profits, donating our time and proceeds to give back, locally and globally. There are a few instances throughout the year that we hear about a project that really captivates us and demands our attention. Paper Antler’s, “The Fifty Nifty” is one of those projects.

Beginning January 2012, Michelle and Jonny from Paper Antler Boutique Photography will embark on a year long adventure to: photograph 50 weddings, in 50 states, within 50 weeks, donating $1,000 per wedding to an anti-human trafficking organization, She Dances, for a total of $50,000.  The funds raised through the Fifty Nifty, will assist She Dances in either sustaining their current safe home in Honduras for one year, or allow them to open a new safe home in another place of need.  Each couple they work with, will write a check for $1,000 directly to She Dances, which will create a connection between them and the work being done to fight human trafficking, as well as mobilize a nationwide collaboration to help young girls who are being sexually exploited in Honduras.

All You Need is Love Events is currently in talks with Paper Antler to work together on this beautiful project and we’re very excited! We will match that $1000 donation for any couple that chooses to work with both All You Need is Love Events AND Paper Antler, equally $2000 per event that goes directly to She Dances.

The Fifty Nifty route is posted on their blog, but it is flexible, so be sure to inquiry with them immediately to book them for your 2012 wedding.

Oh, and just to make it that much better, their work is equally as spectacular as their heart. Check out the beauty…

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Parsons

Back in September, we introduced you to Erica and Greg who we were beyond thrilled to be helping them with their amazing wedding at our all time favorite venue The Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. These two are just about the sweetest things for a variety of reasons but I think what made Vikki and I fall in love with them was the ease in which these two showed the world how committed they are to one another. When we sat down with them, we immediately felt comfortable and could tell that this was a love story for a life time.

Erica and Greg tied the knot in January of this year and it was one of the most romantic and fun weddings we have been a part of. Their wedding was shot by the AMAZING photography husband and wife duo Matt and Angie Sloan. If you have not gone to their site, you are missing out on some spectacularness (yes I just made up a word for them). We are so excited to share some of the breathtaking photographs from this wedding that truly captured the ethereal feeling of the surrounding, but even more so, the love, fun, and commitment that this couple exude. ENJOY!

Silhouette and my life is complete

Okay crafty brides…this might just be the coolest thing since sliced bread and I am not saying that lightly! We love weddings…obviously. But I think that the thing that we love the most about weddings is that at the end of the wedding, when all the guests go home, we always overhear them saying, “Wow, that wedding was sooooooo ( fill in the blank of the couple)”. We believe that it is those little touches that you put in that expresses who you are as a couple that make your wedding complete.Enter the crafting side. We heart crafting and if left to our own devices, would probably try and craft everything and anything. It is no surprise to you then that when I saw this new machine I had to share with our crafty DIY brides!

The Silhouette is a digital cutting tool for personal use. It connects to your computer just like a printer, but instead of printing designs it cuts them with a small blade. With the machine connected to your computer, you’ll get access to all of the fonts on your personal computer plus the thousands of cuttable designs found on the Silhouette Online Store. Simply put…it is just the coolest thing ever. For just around 300 dollars, you can craft up amazing little items like the ones below (and so much more). So as you think about making cupcake holders out of old letters that you and the fiance wrote eachother, creating sweet cards for the wedding party to thank them for all that they have done for you, or just crafting to be crafty, I think that the Silhouette might just be the thing you need.  AND if you do get one, know we will be quite envious:) Happy crafting!
