Back in September, we introduced you to Erica and Greg who we were beyond thrilled to be helping them with their amazing wedding at our all time favorite venue The Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. These two are just about the sweetest things for a variety of reasons but I think what made Vikki and I fall in love with them was the ease in which these two showed the world how committed they are to one another. When we sat down with them, we immediately felt comfortable and could tell that this was a love story for a life time.
Erica and Greg tied the knot in January of this year and it was one of the most romantic and fun weddings we have been a part of. Their wedding was shot by the AMAZING photography husband and wife duo Matt and Angie Sloan. If you have not gone to their site, you are missing out on some spectacularness (yes I just made up a word for them). We are so excited to share some of the breathtaking photographs from this wedding that truly captured the ethereal feeling of the surrounding, but even more so, the love, fun, and commitment that this couple exude. We’re in tears! Thank you so much to recent bride Erica for this absolutely lovely review. We’re blushing!
“To be honest, I didn’t think I needed a wedding planner at first, but our wedding venue required at least a day-of coordinator. Luckily we got hooked up with the wonderful Vikki and Shannon, who are absolutely worth every cent. Here’s why:
You hear a lot of nightmares about scary, controlling wedding coordinators that impose their will on your wedding, but these ladies are the exact opposite. From the beginning they made sure everything was all about me and my groom and making sure it was our dream wedding, not theirs.
They were always super flexible (driving an hour each way to meet with us at our venue), responded seemingly instantly to any desperate last-minute e-mails, were great about sending deadline reminders and providing inspiration, suggestions, and lots of support when it came to details for our event.
And that was all before the actual wedding. When it came to our big day, these ladies outdid themselves. Of course they ran the ceremony and corralled all our vendors, and made sure all the bridal party was where they were supposed to be. But where they just made our day was how they took care of every conceivable detail that as a bride you can’t even imagine will come up: they’ll keep track of your purse, make sure you eat, appear out of nowhere to bring you a perfectly timed drink refill–in my case, lots of water– make sure all your vendors are paid that day, and much much more.
I’ve only done one wedding now, but the band we hired (who has done hundreds of weddings) put it best: They told us that the women at All You Need Is Love are flat out the best wedding coordinators they’ve ever worked with.”

Thank you Ashley for your amazing review of All You Need Is Love Events! We were BEYOND honored to be your planners on your big day and it meant the world to us that you put your trust into our hands to make sure your day was all you dreamed it would be and then some.

Randy posted about the amazing ladies at All You Need Is Love, but I’m going to give the brides point of view. From the moment that Shannon and Vikki stepped on board, I felt a HUGE sigh of relief. At our first consultation, they came with clipboards and a ridiculously laid-out timeline (which my overly OCD-self appreciated). They listened to all the (sometimes crazy) things that we wanted and were supportive. They gave us incredibly helpful suggestions and advice. And this was all before the big day.
The day of the Rehearsal, my mind was already going a kajillion miles a minute. My entire family AND soon-to-be in-laws were there. And, not to mention, I was getting MARRIED the next day. The Rehearsal also sets the tone for the next day – and I truly believe it’s one of the more important parts of the entire wedding process (again, it could be my OCD and wanting to know what is going on!). Shannon and Vikki stepped in and completely led the Rehearsal. My family and wedding party commented on how efficient – but also polite and kind – Shannon and Vikki were. Many times, you can feel almost bullied through the Rehearsal – but that was not the case. Then, we were able to leave feeling confident that the big day was going to be amazing.
The day of the wedding – Shannon, Vikki and Katie were at the venue early (and wearing headsets). It’s hard to even write down everything that they did for us. From bringing the survival kit (with Tide stick…that we absolutely used BEFORE the wedding even started) to meeting the vendors before we arrived to buying extra booze (it was a good party) to making sure our alarm clock was set for the honeymoon. Honestly, I can’t even tell you everything that they did (that shows you how good they are).
